Lecture Abstract

Mixed methods research is a methodological approach that integrates
quantitative and qualitative methods in the same research study (doctoral dissertation, article, research project, etc.). This webcast lecture will describe two important aspects of mixed methods: why to use mixed methods (main purposes and rationales) and how to use this approach (main mixed methods designs). Some important aspects of quality and rigor of mixed methods studies will be also examined.
