CARMA Affiliate Programs

CARMA Affiliate Programs are offered in partnership with professional associations and groups from fields of management. Their focus is educating faculty and graduate students on discipline appropriate research methods. These programs allow access to resources already developed by CARMA, as well as new events developed for and in partnership with CARMA Affiliates. Affiliate Program members have access to CARMA Introductory Research Methods and Analysis Webcast Lectures collection of 25 recordings, and they also have access to a rotating set of recorded CARMA Classic Webcast Lectures, selected based on the broad appeal of their topics and their potential to impact organizational researchers. Each affiliate also makes available a Special Collections of recordings of special importance to association members. Current Affiliate Programs include: Academy of Management DSDP Affiliate Program, Southern Management Association Affiliate Program, PhD Project Affiliate Program, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Affiliate Program, and Women in Research Methods Affiliate Program.  For overview and details of specific affiliate programs please click here.

2021-2022 CARMA Webcast Lecture Series

Dr. Jose Cortina, Jan. 2022 – Full Webcast Lecture

The CARMA Webcast Lecture Series, established in 2004, consists of ten new live one-hour webcast lectures presented annually by nationally recognized methodologists. Recordings of the lectures will be available in the CARMA Video Library, along those from past years (over 200 lectures), to faculty/graduate students from Institutional Member universities/organizations. A special set of CARMA Introductory Research Methods and Analysis Webcast Lectures  from past years are available to members of CARMA Affiliate programs. They also have access to a rotating set of recorded CARMA Classic Webcast Lectures from past years. A searchable listing of these recordings is available in CARMA Video Library.

CARMA Live Online Short Courses

CARMA Short Courses place an emphasis on hands-on experience
and the application of research methods and data analysis skills.
Instructors are recognized within organizational studies as experts on
their topics. Faculty/students from CARMA Institutional Member Schools receive a 50% registration discount. Courses are now offered through our Virtual Global Classroom.

CARMA offers events of several types, including our Webcast Lecture Series, Topic Interest Groups, PhD Prep Series, and Live Online Short Courses. All events are offered live online via our CARMA Global Classroom, and for some recordings are available. Access to events is restricted to Institutional or Affiliate Program members and registration occurs in the CARMA User Area (free registration as a CARMA Website User is required).
