Lecture Abstract

Structural Equation Modeling is a popular analytic approach but remains underutilized when working with experimental data. This talk discusses some of the advantages of using SEM for experimental data and provides some recommendations on when and how to apply SEM for between-subject, within-subject and mixed designs using dependent variables that are measured with one or many indicators, and including mediation and/or moderation. Some hands-on examples are provided.
