Hi all!
Today's class covered a lot, from neural networks to text analysis using dictionary-based approaches, with a walkthrough of how to implement them in Python. Dr. Hickman also discussed NLP preprocessing techniques like stemming, lemmatization, and handling negation to prep text for analysis. Finally, we talked about open vocabulary approaches using TF-IDF, n-grams, and cosine similarity.
