CARMA Welcomes New Members
Archived versions of all Live Webcast Lectures and other key events since 2004 are available within the CARMA Video Library. The Video Library currently contains over 200 recorded lectures from internationally recognized scholars on a variety of research methods (including qualitative and quantitative). We have improved the access and search process for the recordings and our Video Library which will result in a better viewing experience. All faculty and students from member universities will have on-demand individual access to all of these recorded lectures at any time from any location.
- We now offer an expanded set of Topic Interest Groups (TIG) for members. Our TIGs will meet regularly, also with live, individual viewing access using Zoom Webinars and Zoom Meetings. The Topic Areas for 2022-2023 include Structural Equation Methods (SEM), Multilevel Analysis, Qualitative Research Methods, Methods for Macro Research, Big Data, Open Science and Replication Research, Big Data, and Languages, Packages & Tools.
The CARMA PhD Prep Group for 2022-2023 is available only to students and faculty who are associated with organizations that are CARMA Institutional Premium or Basic Members. The PhD Prep Group will host a series of live online events that focus on developing research methods knowledge and skills needed for success as a doctoral student and faculty member. Different sessions will focus on topics related to the specific needs of early, middle, and late- stage doctoral students.
- We now offer an expanded set of Live and Online Short Courses for several global regions, with sessions being planned for November 2022, January, April, May, and June 2023. Members can attend any session regardless of their location, and a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative courses will be available. Members will receive a 50% discount.
