For your reference, here is the email I sent to everyone yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Hi all,

I'm happy that you will be a part of our upcoming course together! I know it's the day after New Year's Day, so I'll be brief in giving you an overview of the pre-course setup and schedule.

1. Here's the course Github link: https://github.com/jtkiley/carma_python
2. When you work through the install, expect about 30 minutes to complete, with the section on importing the Anaconda environment taking several minutes to complete (mostly waiting for the computer to download and install packages).
3. The slides are listed as an asset in the 1.2.0 release (see instructions on the Github page above).

Also, I wanted to pass along some information on the general course schedule. Each day, we will have three 75-minute segments with breaks, a 15-minute break and a one-hour lunch. The lunch break probably fits better in the first break with many of us being on the east coast (US), but I'm open to either choice. We can talk about that on Tuesday.

If you have questions or any issues, feel free to reach out before we start on Tuesday. I really enjoy these courses, and I hope you have as much fun with it as I do!
