Half-time recapitulation:
We worked with the second script: 02_examine_org_gender_strat.Rmd
- Using visualizations to spot if societal trends such as inadequate representation of women are present at the organization level
- Different ways to generate different types of bivariate visualizations (refer 02_examine_org_gender_strat.Rmd file). Few things we can do are: specify x & y-axis variables, specify labels on the visualization, horizontal-vertical visualization, width-height, number of breaks on the axes, percentage equivalent representation of variables etc.
- Three variable visualizations in R. Example of gender, representation across levels, performance
• Generate html reports of all visualizations
A prompt: How do you think visualizations could be leveraged in your research?
Please feel free to post any questions or clarifications.
