Meet the Instructor

Shawn McClean is an assistant professor and McCasland Foundation Professor of American Free Enterprise in the Division of Management and International Business at the University of Oklahoma, specializing in organizational behavior and human resource management. Dr. McClean earned a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and human resource management from Texas A&M University. Dr. McClean’s research focuses on leadership, the work/non-work interface, and factors that drive employees to engage in unethical behavior. His work has been published in leading management journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and the Academy of Management Annals. In addition, Dr. McClean serves as the doctoral program coordinator for Management at the University of Oklahoma, where he also teaches research methods at the doctoral level.
