Registration is open for our 2024 Live Online Summer Short Course Plus Program. These Short Courses are sponsored by the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University and will be offered in two sessions: Session I will run from June 10-12; Session II is June 13-15.
Each session contains a variety of courses to choose from and features introductory and advanced topics on quantitative and qualitative methods. CARMA Short Courses are taught by The Best In Our Business and provide a blend of lectures and hands-on experience. Instructors include both current and former Editors, Associate Editors, and editorial board members from prestigious journals such as ORM, AMJ, JAP, and OBHDP, as well as recipients of AOM-RMD Distinguished Career and Early Career awards. The list of accolades (awards, editorships, and editorial board involvement) that make our Short Course Instructors The Best In Our Business can be found here.
We are also excited to introduce a simplified pricing structure for our 2024 Short Course Plus Program. All active Institutional and Affiliate Members enjoy a 50% discount on registration. 2024 Short Course Plus Partner Discount (formerly known as Short Course Group Discount)
Based on the past success of our Short Course Group Discount, we are excited to announce our new discount program: the 2024 Short Course Plus Partner Discount offers enhanced benefits and savings for CARMA Institutional Members schools/institutions. This new pricing model features two partner levels, providing greater flexibility and recognition within the CARMA Community.
How It Works:
Institutional Member schools/institutions select their desired level of participation and pay a one-time fee to become a 2024 Short Course Plus Partner. This fee includes complimentary spots for students and faculty in our June Short Course Plus Program, along with additional benefits tailored to each tier below:
- Tier I Short Course Plus Partner: $2,500
- Up to 10 complimentary Short Course registrations* (saving $150 per Short Course, a potential savings of $1,500 if all spots are utilized)
- Academic Partner recognition via university/institution logo on:
- Short Course Plus Program website
- CARMA social media accounts
- CARMA Communications newsletter
- $200 off 2024-2025 Institutional Premium Membership
- Tier II Short Course Plus Partner: $1,800
- Up to 6 complimentary Short Course registrations* (saving $100 per Short Course; potential savings of $600 if all spots are utilized)
- Academic Partner recognition via university/institution logo on:
- Short Course Plus Program website
- CARMA social media accounts
- CARMA Communications newsletter
- $150 off 2024-2025 Institutional Premium Membership
*A registration spot is determined as enrollment in one course during one session. One person will count as two registrations if attending courses in Session I and Session II. 2024 Short Course Plus Partner participants should not self-register for their Short Course(s). Their school’s Partner Representative will provide their registration information. Partner Representatives must submit attendee names and course selections by May 20, 2024.
How to Become a 2024 Short Course Plus Partner
Once you decide to become a Short Course Plus Partner, you will need to identify a Partner Representative who will be the point of contact for your school/institution through the registration process. The Partner Representative will be responsible for completing the registration form, submitting attendee information (name & selected course(s)), and ensuring that payment is submitted. (Payment is accepted via credit card, PO, or check.)
Please submit the information form as soon as the decision is made to become a Short Course Plus Partner. You will not need to submit course attendee names upon initial registration.
Utilizing Complimentary Short Course Registrations
Partner schools/institutions must identify the Short Course Plus attendees who will utilize their complimentary registrations. Once identified, the Partner Representative will submit attendee information (name & selected course(s)) to carma@ttu.edu.
NOTE: Attendees will be assigned to their courses on a first-come first-serve basis. Please submit the attendee form as soon as possible to ensure attendees are assigned to their preferred course(s). The deadline to submit attendee names and course selections is May 20.
CARMA will register each attendee individually and inform both the attendee and the Partner Representative once registrations are complete.
Individual Pricing per Session
In an effort to offset travel and lodging costs associated with returning to in-person Short Courses, CARMA has lowered our course registration prices and simplified our pricing structure to only two categories: Members & Non-Members. Active Institutional & Affiliate Members receive a 50% discount on registration. If you’re unsure of which category you fall under, you can review our list of active Institutional Member Schools or learn more about our Affiliate Member options.
